"It should be noted that the interest in our movement in India is increasingly growing, the ranks of our supporters are joined daily. It is conditional upon not only our active social position, participation in public life but also the rapid development of cryptocurrency in the region," Aleksey Muratov stated.

In particular, according to Aleksey Muratov, an association of the largest Bitcoin-exchanges of India was discussed at meetings of leaders and supporters of the movement in Maharashtra and the first meeting of which was held in common format last week in Mumbai. ʺSuch leading Bitcoin-exchanges as Zebpay, Unocoin, Coinsecure and Searchtrade has joined an industry-wide organization called “Blockchain and Virtual currency Association of India”. The main objective of the organization will be to create a single body to interact with the regulators. Also, its activity will be aimed at making Bitcoin trading safer. To that end, the members of the association will raise awareness about the risks of financial pyramids and other grey schemes. As we see, the cryptocurrency market is gradually becoming more organized, which we have repeatedly predicted,ʺ Chairman of the Board of CWT said.

Aleksey Muratov also recalled that the Reserve Bank of India published a letter in early February that warned the population of possible cryptocurrency risks. ʺUsers were asked to pay particular attention to the unpredictability of Bitcoin-trade before embarking on any action. The Ministry of Human Resources Development of India (HRD) is also active in raising awareness.
